This article explains how to create, switch, transfer, and delete workspaces in QR Mark. It helps companies with more than one team keep each team's verifications, certificates, and templates separate while sharing one subscription.
A workspace is a separate space inside a QR Mark company account. Each workspace has its own verifications, certificates, templates, custom domains, and users. Items in one workspace are not visible in other workspaces. User seats, custom domains, the verification limit, and billing stay pooled at the company level.
When Workspaces is turned on, the existing account becomes the company. It gets one default workspace named after the account, and all existing data stays inside that default workspace.
A. Plan Availability and Limits
Workspaces is available on the QR Mark Pro Plan. Each extra workspace costs USD 10 or INR 850 per month.
- Starter Plan: 1 workspace
- Pro Plan: as many workspaces as needed, chosen in the plan builder
To check how many workspaces are in use, go to Subscription > Overview > Usage and Limits. The Workspaces row shows the count, for example 2 of 5.
To add more workspaces to the plan, go to Subscription > Plans and change the Workspace number on the Pro Plan. Then click the Update Plan button.
B. Create a Workspace
- Go to Settings > Workspace
- Click the Create Workspace button
- Enter a name in the Workspace Name field, for example Sales, HR, or Marketing
- Click the Create Workspace button
A Workspace Created message appears. The new workspace shows up in the workspace table and in the workspace switcher right away.
Note: The Workspace Name field cannot be empty.
C. Switch Between Workspaces
The workspace switcher sits at the top of the left sidebar, under the QR Mark logo.
- Click the workspace switcher
- Select the workspace to open
All pages, such as Verifications, Certificates, Templates, and Settings, now show data for the selected workspace only.
D. Understand the Workspace Table
Go to Settings > Workspace to see every workspace in the company. The table shows:
- Workspace: the workspace name
- Members: the number of users in the workspace
- Domains: the number of custom domains the workspace uses
- Verifications: the number of verifications in the workspace
- Certificates: the number of certificates in the workspace
- Templates: the number of page templates, frame templates, and certificate designs
- Actions: the Transfer, Edit, and Delete buttons
Note: The default workspace does not have a Delete button.
E. Share Custom Domains Across Workspaces
A custom domain can be used by one workspace or by several workspaces.
- Go to Settings > Custom Domain
- Enter the domain in the Sub-Domain Name field
- In the Used By field, select one or more workspaces
- Click the Add button
Each workspace shows only the domains assigned to it.

- Go to Settings > Users
- Click the Invite User button
- Enter the email address in the User's Email field
- Select a role in the User's Role field
- Select one or more workspaces in the Workspaces field
- Click the Invite User button
Three roles are available:
- Admin: manages everything across the company, including workspaces, users, domains, API keys, templates, and verifications
- Manager: manages users, domains, API keys, templates, bulk operations, and verifications, but cannot manage billing or workspaces
- Contributor: creates verifications and bulk operations, and can only view other items
The Permissions box on the Invite User panel shows the exact permissions for the selected role.

G. Transfer a Workspace

- Go to Settings > Workspace
- Click the Transfer button in the row of the workspace to move
- Select the target workspace in the Destination Workspace field
- Select the domains, users, templates, and programs to move
- Click the Transfer button, or click the Transfer & Delete button
Keep these points in mind:
- All verifications always move to the destination workspace. Single verifications cannot be selected
- Programs move together with their certificates
- The Transfer button keeps the source workspace
- The Transfer & Delete button removes the source workspace after the move is complete
H. Delete a Workspace
- Go to Settings > Workspace
- Click the Delete button in the row of the workspace
- Click Yes to confirm
A success message appears. If the deleted workspace was the one in use, QR Mark switches back to the default workspace.
Note: Deleting a workspace cannot be undone. To keep the data, use the Transfer & Delete button in the Transfer Workspace panel instead. The default workspace cannot be deleted.
